Egg2Cake’s products reflect a passion for the modern-day creative life, blending beautiful design, playful humor and sentimental insight. We aspire to be joyful, curious and present in all that we do.
The name, Egg2Cake, was originally inspired by the momentous time period from the onset of pregnancy to baby’s first birthday. In the broader sense, it also symbolizes the creative process of taking an idea or ingredient to its finished, glorious state.
Jamie Diersing, Founder and Creative Director
Jamie is an award-winning graphic designer and writer, having spent the last 18 years working with a number of renowned design firms located on the east coast, west coast and in the midwest. She has obsessively documented things her entire life and Egg2Cake has become a natural extension of her passion for celebrating, memory keeping and organization. She believes that the proper life should read like a good book, and be chock full of curiosity, passion, humor and adventure. (A bit of compulsive list making and planning doesn’t hurt either).
Jamie has lived in Boston and Los Angeles and currently resides in Cincinnati with her husband and daughter, because she wholeheartedly believes an important part of childhood is to be spoiled by grandparents and extended family. Friends and family think of her as an experience agent, always on the hunt for the next adventure or found keepsake. Jamie is an avid collector of too many things, most notably, a sand collection retrieved from around the world. She enjoys traveling, writing, photography, running, gardening, the great outdoors and throwing one heck of a party. And being a mama, of course.
