Documenting your Staycation
Sticking close to home this summer? Consider creating a passport with your kids to document your travels to local parks, museums and other summer hot spots. You can make one that mimics a real passport, or simply use a small notebook. The only requirement is to have plenty of white space for small hands to write, draw or stamp in each location. Consider buying a few rubber stamps that can represent activities and places, such as a fish for the aquarium and a tent for camping.
Kids will enjoy filling up their books and when school rolls around again, they’ll have no trouble answering the question, “So what did you do this summer?”
